East Coast of Ireland

For the last couple of weeks we've been making our way up the East Coast of Ireland.
We started with two more fast downwind blasts. First around Carnsore Point and into Arklow, then up to Howth (just outside Dublin). We're really loving how comfortable the Boréal is downwind in 30kts.
We spent a day doing the tourist thing in Dublin, with lots of other tourists. The Little Museum of Dublin was our favourite, and particularly good because the charasmatic director Trevor led the tour (apparently a rarity).

There's a great walk around the Ben of Howth.

Running out of marina tokens, we moved North a little to anchor off Lambay island. We were last  here in 2018 on our Iceland-Dublin trip with 59⁰ North. It's bird heaven, there were even a few puffins.

Another couple of jumps took us via Carlingford Lough, where we picked up a mooring so Phil could work for a day, and on to Strangford Lough.
Strangford Lough is very beautiful. Green hills all around, and the peaks of the Mourne Mountains in the distance. It sets a bar for Scotland to match.

As we write this, we're about to negotiate the tricky tidal exit of the Lough and cross the North Channel over to Scotland.
