Mull of Kintyre

We rounded the Mull of Kintyre on Thursday morning. It is important to get the tide right when you do this or you could end up going backwards. We had about 5 knots of tide with us for most of the trip north up to Islay making the 3.00am start well worth it.

It was also worth it to experience the sunrise from the water. There is something special about watching the sky as the sun comes up, which our phone camera photography will never capture, but we had a go anyway.

Also Phil made bread on the way!
